Young Leader Award and Youth Leadership Award

Do you know someone who has served Monash and achieved remarkable things?  The City of Monash’s, Sir John Monash Award nominations are now open for 2024. 

This year amongst a variety of categories, Youth Leadership is made up of two awards – Young Leader Award (8 – 14 years) and Youth Leadership Award (15 – 25 years). 

This is an opportunity to recognise young people who are engaged in an activity or service in Monash, for the benefit of the community.  This could be achieved through:

  • advocating for change,
  • raising awareness about a particular issue,
  • volunteering their time to engage or support members of the community,
  • raise money for a particular cause, and/or
  • being a mentor or positive role model in Monash.

Nominations for young people of all abilities and backgrounds are encouraged.
